The Holy Valley olive oil comes from pressing the finest types of fresh olives that have been carefully hand-picked from the finest farms in Sinai. We always make sure to provide products completely free from chemicals and preservatives and 100% pure, healthy and natural.

Method:

- The production process is being monitored from the moment the olives are harvested to packaging process
- The pressing process is being done under extremely low temperature
- The extra virgin olive oil acidity level does not exceed 0.8%
- The virgin olive oil acidity level does not exceed 2%
- Our olive oil is being produced according to very specific hygiene environment in every stage of the process

For packing we choose the best materials. Our products are being packed in two ways

- Pet plastic bottles made specifically for food storage .
- Glass bottles not only the best because it keep the olive oil live longer or they’re good for our health but also they’re better for our planet.

According to a report published by the Spanish magazine “ mejor con salod” any type of olive oil is considered very important source to fatty acid “healthy omega 3” so that’s why the olive oil is recommended by the doctors to consume it regularly and of these types are:

– Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

is the highest type in quality and price between all different types of olive oil. It is unrefined oil usually extracted from the first pressing of the fresh olives and the acidity level does not exceed 0.8%. It’s full of healthy fats and protects you against the risk of cardiovascular diseases. The high price in this type is due to low oil percentage in olives because of the pressing way that has been used ,which is considered completely free from all chemicals, also due to the high price of the materials that is used especially to preserve olive oil in nutritious value and health benefits.

- Virgin Olive Oil:

Comes second in quality and price and the acidity level does not exceed 2%.

- Refined Olive Oil:

is the most common in the markets due to its low price compared to the others because it obtained from mixing high quality oils with other refined lower quality oils and sometimes refining the high quality oils to become palatable and suitable for human consumption.

– Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

The extra virgin olive oil is the highest in price and quality between all the other types. it’s unrefined olive oil extracted from the first pressing of fresh olives and it’s acidity level does not exceed 0,8% and it is full of healthy fats and protects against the risk of cardiovascular diseases.

- Virgin Olive Oil:

Comes second in quality and price and the acidity level does not exceed 2%.

– Extra Virgin Olive Oil:

Weather, soil and irrigation are the most highly factors that affect the flavour of olive oil.

The expiration date comes around two years after being produced but the wrong way in storing it ( like store it under direct sunlight) could change the flavour and smell in no time.

The best way is to put it in airtight container or flask, away from the heat and light as air, heat and light are all factors that affect the quality, taste and extend life of olive oil.

No, the low temperature doesn’t not affect the quality product even in a minimum rate and does not cause any changes in the structure or to preserve it
Olive oil can sometimes freeze when it’s exposed to low temperature but wether the olive oil freezes or not it’s not considered an indication to the authenticity

Yes we can use it , in fact, freezing is a normal process that does not affect the quality or nutritional properties of the product.

To defrost it you have to make the lid little loose and put it in a bowl of water in 41c• and keep stirring it or you can put it in a glass bottle in an environment above 50c• it will defrost naturally and in no time the product will return to liquid state without any changes.

Olive oil contains high percentage of monounsaturated fats - healthy fats, so including it in a healthy diet decreases the risks of cardio diseases and different types of cancer.

Olive oil consists of 70% monounsaturated fatty acid that resist oxidation and helps keeping HDL levels and IDL levels low. In addition, the existing of phenols and other natural antioxidants prevents the formation of some free radicals that may cause cell destruction within the human body .

Yes the extra virgin olive oil can replace the margarine and butter perfectly in baking or cooking.

In contrary to the public ,The extra virgin olive oil is highly recommended to use as substitute rather than vegetable and animal oils in frying and cooking due to that olive oil contains from 70-80% monounsaturated fatty acids which have only double bond so that makes it a good resistance against heat. It can be heated up to 200 degrees which means you can use it in cooking, grilling and frying plus the strong flavour that will be added to the food in contrary of vegetables oil that lacks flavour due to the intensive processing procedure .

In one study, researchers heated extra virgin olive oil to 365°F (180°C) for 36 hours, and the oil was very resistant to spoilage.
In another study, they used olive oil for deep frying, and it took 24-27 hours for it to reach spoilage levels that were considered harmful.
